Newcastle Drum
One of the largest and most successful drum stores in the UK, Newcastle Drum came to Union Room needing a new online presence.
The new Newcastle Drum website is a full e-commerce store with over 4,500 products, making up one of the most complex systems we've created.
The website ties in directly with Newcastle Drums in-store EPOS system, meaning that stock sold online or in the main store is updated instantly on both systems. This ensures that the both systems are constantly giving out real-time data.
The payment system on the website is integrated with Sagepay's payment gateway, meaning all transactions are secure and authorised by a third party. As well as the standard functionality of a traditional e-commerce store, we custom built specific functions such as bespoke insurance quotes and a buy now, pay later scheme.
The drums and percussion sector is a hugely diverse market and, when we came to Union Rooms, our product database featured well in excess of 10,000 products. Union Room helped us further develop within a very competitive market and enabled us to provide our customers with a high level of service.
