Pearson Engineering is a world-leading innovator of Assured Mobility, Assured Manufacturing and Assured Security.
Already recognised as a global leader in combat engineering systems, Pearson Engineering have recently diversified into related markets with the creation of Assured Security, a range of tactical systems for civil defence, designed to provide protection, resilience and capability to civil defence and Homeland security agencies. The company also now offers Assured Manufacturing, a wide range of manufacturing services capability to the defence industry. Pearson Engineering needed to re-position their website to promote these new business streams, and also to showcase their relocation to the iconic engineering facility Armstrong Works.
As part of the revamp, we redesigned the home page to reflect both the traditional combat engineering systems business that Pearson Engineering are renowned for, also introducing the new Assured Manufacturing and Assured Security business streams. New sections for both now feature as part of the main navigation, with dedicated content including drone video footage showing the 33,000 m2 facilities also featured. The improved website presence has already resulted in increased traffic and enquiries, and we look forward to working closely with the client on further developments during 2016.
Previously, the brand font used across their offline print material wasn't available to license as a web font, so we had tried to find a suitable alternative. The font recently became available to license online, so as part of the site refresh we updated the font to ensure brand consistency across both the online & offline material.
Drone video footage is a great way to demonstrate the sheer scale of the facilities at Armstrong Works.
Each of the two new business streams have their own brand colour which are introduced to complement the existing corporate colours.
