Browell Smith & Co is a local, experienced team of solicitors providing a full range of legal services including personal injury, divorce and family law, wills, trusts and probate, medical and dental negligence claims and both residential and commercial conveyancing.
Browell Smith and Co approached us as they were looking to shift from their usual TV and radio advertising and focus more on their online digital presence. This meant designing a completely new website to reflect their core proposition as well as providing a brand refresh that would represent who they now are as a business.
A huge focal point for the Browells brand was imagery. It needed to be striking yet reflect their trustworthy and authoritative ideologies – all whilst relating to their target audiences.
We used natural shots of families to represent every day life and help create an overall humanised approach to a subject matter that can sometimes seem quite detached at times.
Since Browells offer a wide range of legal services, we knew there would be a lot of elements to fit into the navigation. We decided to keep the top level menu quite condensed and feature an expanded drop down menu on hover of each specific area. This meant the navigation wasn’t too intrusive on the page and the user only had to navigate through the specific area they’re interested in.
The most important aspect of the website was to prompt users to get in touch and increase website leads. A huge selling point for Browells was that users would be speaking directly to a legal specialist when they got in touch. Therefore we had to make this clear from the beginning.
‘Speak to a Specialist’ CTAs were added throughout the site to reinforce the idea users would be receiving the best service and advice – something that’s proven to be extremely successful since launch.
Not only have we provided Browells with an improved user experience and much needed website overhaul, we’ve helped generate some excellent results for the business.
Since launch there has been an impressive 96% increase in site engagement compared to last year – proving our refined and strategic approach has helped optimise the overall user journey.
The client have also seen a massive 70% increase in conversions since launch, with reports showing how successful our CTA signposting has been throughout the site.
